Dear candidates, members, and friends,
During May, our Guardian Angels are eager to bring us to our Holy Mother Mary. From Letter 9 in our studies: "The strongest inclination of our Guardian Angel is to lead us to Mary, so that she might unite us to Jesus." I encourage you to jump ahead to Letter 9 which focuses on the Marian dimension in our studies. Perfect reading for this month! 10 pages
Great way to start the weekend...this Friday, May 13, begins the monthly Fatima Day pilgrimages to the Shrine of our Lady of Czestochowa in Doylestown. On the 13th of every month from May to October, Holy mass is celebrated at 7:00 pm, followed by a candlelight Rosary procession (recited in different languages), and an Act of Reparation to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. 645 Ferry Road, Doylestown. Well-attended - but not overly crowded, plenty of parking, beautiful grounds. Please see flyer for schedule and featured celebrants (located in Documents on this page) .
Short answer: There is no deadline. Begin your studies at any time!
However, if you are hopeful of making your consecration this year, it is important to
submit your application before the end of January. You will receive the Formation
Letters book and learn how to enjoy more fully the gift of your Guardian Angel, and
ultimately, grow closer to God.
No pressure: this is a self-study program, and you should start when you feel you want to
deepen your relationship with your Guardian Angel. We will offer get-togethers several
times during the year to share experiences, ask questions, and enjoy the company of
fellow parishioners. We hope you’ll join us now!
As part of our Crusade for Priests, we have a Spiritual Adoption Program whereby one may adopt a specific priest, Bishop, or seminarian. When praying daily for our “adopted priest”, we ask Our Lord to allow these graces and blessings to flow to all priests, especially for those who have no one to pray for them. View website and Sign up Here.
From billions of angels, God selected one Guardian Angel especially for
you, an angel who has not been nor will be assigned to anyone else...ever!
If you’d like to develop a closer relationship with your constant
companion, please join our next Consecration to the Guardian Angels
Program which will begin in January. Our angels can help increase
our faith, aid us in prayer, protect us from harm, and bring us closer
to God. While it’s a self-study program, we will offer meetings
throughout the year.
Application forms are available at the back of the church, the church
office, and here on our parish website. Please return them as soon as
possible so you can receive your study materials before we begin at
the end of January. If you have questions, please email Tana Dimino
at StJohnLamb.GuardianAngels@gmail.com. For program details,

“Behold, I send an angel before you, to guard you on
the way and to bring you to the place which I have prepared” Exodus 23:20
St. Thomas Aquinas teaches that Jesus did not need a Guardian Angel
during His earthly life because He was guided immediately by the Word
of God. As the Second Person of the Blessed Trinity, he already enjoyed
the Beatific Vision to a degree vastly surpassing that of all the angels.
Therefore, instead of a Guardian Angel to guide him, it was fitting that
Jesus should have rather a ministering angel (or angels) to assist and
serve Him during His time on earth.
This reflection and others can be found at the Opus Sanctorum
Angelorum website: opusangelorum.org. If you would like to develop
a closer relationship with your Guardian Angel, please consider joining
our Consecration to our Guardian Angels studies. The application is
above, available for download. It can be returned to the office or placed
in the collection basket. If you have questions, please contact us at
StJohnLamb.GuardianAngels@gmail.com.
